Andy Ferreira of Cask dives into how closer relationships with farmers markets, producers, and suppliers can reshape the way we source, create, and serve cocktails, resulting in more meaningful menus, stronger communities, and a more resilient bar industry. 

Andy will also discuss the inspiration behind 'Tasty Anarchy', Casks latest cocktail menu. Each drink was developed in collaboration with the wonderful producers, growers, distillers, foragers and craftspeople that shape Irish landscape, resulting in a menu that is rich in story and deeply connected to place. BIOGRAPHY

Andy Ferreira is the creative force behind two of Ireland’s most renowned cocktail bars, Cask and Paladar, in Cork City.

Cask is renowned for its nature inspired, farm to glass drinks list, centred around Irish spirits and native ingredients. For their latest menu, Tasty Anarchy, the team has collaborated with producers, growers, distillers, foragers and craftspeople that shape Irish landscape, resulting in a menu that is rich in story and deeply connected to place.

Paladar is a Latin American inspired cocktail bar and kitchen that seeks to capture the culture and vibrancy of this remarkable region through its unique food, drink and music. In its first year, Paladar was nominated for a prestigious Tales of the Cocktail award in the “Best New Cocktail Bar in Europe” category. It was also crowned “Best Overall Bar” in Ireland for two consecutive years.
